Shut down system

We discussed about shut down system this week, In my opinion, I totally agree to shut down system. We all know that addiction to computer games are getting increasingly serious among teenagers. Shut down system will be solve this problem and contribute to focus their study.

Nearly 877million teenagers get addiction to computer games. It is two times compared to adult. Like this, they are lacking in judgment so It is easy to get addiction to computer games. On this account, The government should make the system in order to keep this increase. Some Computer games is possible to negatively affect on youth mentally. Before this system works, They should draw up way to prevent an illegal use of other´s resident number. For example, People can check whether their resident numbers are stole or not on the web. Also, If Parents ask game companies to give information about their children’s using time. As I knew, some countries enforce a law of shut down system like China, Vietnam. It shows that they already handle side-effect of computer game.

 In order to lead game industry, Not only the government But game company should solve this side-effect by making the systems. If major game companies participate in work shut down system, it will promote a healthy environment to play games

Working environment.

This week, Hye-woon Hwang and Sol Choi gave a presentation on working environment. This topic is very serious to me in the term of getting a job. I prefer to get a job which has good environment. I hope I enjoy my life after full employment.,

I have reading a novel called ‘Han river’. It based on from 1960 to 1980 and wrote focused on reality so I could understand well the circumstances at the time by reading a novel and It was driving force of economic growth. But most of the workers are in bad situation to work. They usually work more than 12hours and get a little salary. The most employers didn’t observe the employment laws. Jeon tae-il is well-known as person struggling for making better working environment. He burned oneself to death in order for other workers. Thanks for his dedication, It was getting better a little by little. But there are many company violating employment laws so far. Especially the big companies such as SAMSUNG, LG are well known that they force to work overtime at night. I think It makes Samsung become best electronic company but there are many worker’s devotion.

It is time to decide the company where I go so I should consider welfare, working environment, salary. Most important thing for me is working environment. I don’t like to absorbed in only working.

about abortion.

I and Jae-hyun, So-jin gave a presentation about abortion this week, We choose this topic because this topic emerge as hot topic these days, I recently read interesting article about abortion. The article said that it was increased to go abroad to abort their baby after the government had restricted abortion severely,

Pro-life and Pro-choice is conflicted each other, those who insist pro-life are said that an embryo is already life. I agree with this opinion. Moreover; the both stance of law and religion assert that an embryo is one individual life. I saw lots of video about abortion for presentation. I was shocked after watching because it was so cruel. It absolutely seems like human. But there is gap between reality and reason. If people who disagreed an abortion like me face the unexpected situation of pregnancy and they can’t afford to nurture a baby, they will unavoidably make a decision to abort and then they will suffer from feel of guilty.

I think the most important thing is preventing pregnancy in advance. Also the government has the key to solve this matter. Most of the mothers do abortion because they have economical problem to deliver baby. So the government should make lots of policy such as subsides, baby care center to encourage delivering baby.

hybrid car.

 This week, Park woo-jeong and Lee jae-seung gave the presentation about Hybrid car. Nowadays, There are lots of hybrid cars around us.

The major car manufactures are struggle for developing hybrid car. But It is not perfect yet. My uncle bought hybrid car last year so I can hear the performance of hybrid car. He unsatisfied that that has so many faults. Nevertheless; A lot of people are now looking to purchase hybrids rather than other cars. If I have chance to buy my own car, I will consider buying hybrid car. Because there are so many attractive reasons.

First of all, less fuel consumption is one of the major reasons to get a hybrid car. Hybrid cars are known to provide excellent performance with less fuel consumption that results in less oil consumption also. And oil price, as we are all aware, is becoming steeper and steeper. At this rate, So many driver should forgive to drive their own car. I think hybrid car can be one of the solution.

To improve consumption of hybrid car, The government should assist budget for consumer, Reducing insurance fee for hybrid car owner can be best solution. Advances in science and technology have brought us many benefits. Also Hybrid car will do so.

Social commerce..

 Kim tae-won and Lim bo-ra gave a presentation about social commerce. It is well known nowadays, because there are lots of advantages by using social commerce. They explained definition of social commerce with source. Actually I didn’t know it began from the U.S. The social commerce is very popular in Korea as well as in America .
Of course, I tried buying coupon on the web such as movie ticket, restaurant. I could buy those coupon for half price. This allows us to provide lots of things at low cost and A provider can get marketing effect  from social commerce. I regularly check social commerce web site to buy something at low cost. I have lots of chance to buy coupon because my brother have operated the social commerce website. So sometime, I have to advertise my brother’s web to my friends. This put me in an embarrassing situation. One of my friends bought the coupon from my brother’s website for enjoying meal. But It could only use one branch. He couldn’t use the coupon because the branch is so far from his house. He wanted to refund of this coupon, but it was impossible. It is easy to buy impulse purchase because of limited allowance and cheap cost.
 Lastly, I think social commerce market will be huge little by little. If they consider consumer’s difficulties It will be good material for shopper.

Cohabitation before marriage

Chang Min and I presented about Cohabitation this week. We thought It will be good topic to debate. Actually It is very serious problem now. Especially, Koreans still have negative views about cohabitation. So did I. But After I went to the college. I saw a lot of couples who live together. I was pretty shocked. They lived together without notice to their parents and they easily met together and easily broke up.

It is big problem in our social because almost Koreans are conservative. As I know, In case of other countries such as France, It is usual thing. So Korea is changing like them little by little as result of provided their culture.

In the case of my friend, He has been lived with his girl friend for 2years. They parents don't know that so far. They seem that will be marrying after graduation. But after marrying, Will be there something new? Because they are living as wife and husband until now. I guess they cannot feel newly married life.

Of course, There are some advantages. They can save money as shared their budget. Futhermore; they can spend much time with lover. So, If I have chance to live together with my girlfriend. I do that under such condition that I will marry her. Because it is good chance to know her deeply. People usually try to tell and behavior only good things for their. They conceal their weaknesses. So I can't know well about her even if I make a long relationship with her.

Someone asked me that assuming your wife has cohabitation experience with her x-boy friend, What do you do? I really confused after receiving this question. Actually, I always think that past events don't matter between couples. Of course I will be disappointed with her. But I will try to understand her If she really like x-boy friend.

I think debate of cohabitation continues for a long time.

Rising oil prices

Kim Yun-Hyung and Myoung-Soo gave presentation of rising oil prices this week, So we had chance to discuss about rising oil prices. These days, one of the serious problems is the rising oil price. Moreover; it is good topic to debate. It is necessary to develop country but there is too much loss. So I think that we must develop other green sources instead of oil.

Rising oil prices is caused a lot of bad situation. First of all, the living of cost is continually going up. It makes ordinary person live hard. Also, I think that It widen the gap between rich and poor. In addition, our country has a few resources. So our economy is seriously affected when oil price is increase. For example, Transportation cost is higher than before. Only 500 won when I was middle school, but now it is 1000won. It has double. It is caused possibility to become inflation. Second, It operated a lot of war. As you know, Between Iraq and U.S.A begin the war because of oil. In fact, It is one sided fight. I think someday world war will operate when oil disappear. So It is important to develop other alternative energies instead of oil. So government should invest to develop other energies constantly. I guess nuclear power will be the best resource later.

Also we effort to save energy to conserve resources. If possible, we try to take transportation instead of a private car and unplug appliances that draw power even when they are not in use. From now we have to do our best to reduce oil consumption.
